Introduction CatGPT (“the App”) is a mobile application that uses AI to generate humorous text based on images of cats provided by users. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how it is used, and how it is stored. By using CatGPT, you agree to the practices described in this policy. 2. Information We Collect a. Images Uploaded by Users CatGPT collects images you choose to upload for the sole purpose of generating AI-powered content. We do not collect or store any other personal information (no names, emails, accounts, analytics, or location data). 3. How Your Images Are Used Uploaded images are used only to: Send the image to our AI processing pipeline (Cloudflare → Google Gemini) Generate the cat “translation” text Display results to you Optionally store the result locally on your device in the app’s “History” feature Important: Images are not stored on any server we control. Any “History” entries are stored locally on your device only. We do not have access to your history. 4. Data Storage & Retention On-device storage: Your cat images and generated results are kept only on your device if you use the History feature. On servers: Images are transmitted to Cloudflare Workers, which forward them to Google’s Gemini API. Images may be temporarily held in memory during processing, but they are not stored or retained by Blink Labs. We do not maintain any cloud database of user images. 5. Third-Party Services CatGPT uses trusted third-party services to function: a. Google Gemini (AI Processing) Used to generate AI responses based on your uploaded images. b. Cloudflare (Proxy + Security) Used to securely send requests to the AI models. c. Google AdMob (Advertising) Used to show ads in the app. AdMob may collect: Device identifiers (like advertising ID) Ad engagement data General device information AdMob does not access your uploaded images. We do not sell, share, or transfer your personal data to any third parties except: Cloudflare (to route image requests) Google Gemini (to process the image you upload) AdMob (for ads only — images are not shared with AdMob) No other sharing occurs. 7. Children’s Privacy CatGPT is not directed toward children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
